Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: September 16, 2026

Our commitment

Kwibli wants everyone — guests and venue staff alike — to be able to tip, view menus, book and manage their venue, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We apply the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its harmonised standard EN 301 549, which references the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The exceptions are listed below and we are working to resolve them.

What we have done

Recent measures include:

  • Text and interface colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios in light and dark mode.
  • Every interactive element can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • A “skip to main content” link, labelled landmarks and page language are provided.
  • Dialogs keep focus inside, close with Escape and return focus to where you were.
  • Images have text alternatives; icon-only buttons have accessible names.
  • Animations are reduced when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • The interface is available in Spanish, Catalan and English.

Known limitations

Some content is not yet fully accessible:

  • Menus uploaded by venues as PDF files or photos may lack a text alternative; ask the venue for the menu in another format.
  • Colours, fonts and images chosen by each venue for its own page may not always meet contrast requirements.
  • Moving tables in the floor-plan editor currently requires a mouse or touch screen.
  • Some third-party components (payment forms, maps, embedded videos) are provided by other companies and follow their own accessibility.

Compatibility

Kwibli is designed to work with:

  • Current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge on mobile and desktop.
  • Screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA.
  • Browser zoom up to 200% and system text-size settings.
